Hitachi San Expert Engineer Hitachi San Expert EngineerWest Chester Area We are looking for an Expert Data Storage Engineer involved in planning, implementing, administering, and managing storage networking and operations for a medical device manufacturer. There is an immediate need for a Technical PM with experience in storage planning and architecting storage layouts and networks. This person needs to plan storage connectivity, do product evaluations, performance tuning, data replication and disaster recovery procedures. This person must have archiving experience, including all storage tiers and tape solutions. Also need lifecycle management of structured and other unstructured content, and storage inventory maintenance for both array-based and file-based storage systems. Skills needed: Implementation and design skills in data storage systems. Manage Hitachi AMS 1000 Storage Systems and associated switches, and Qlogic HBAs. Manage SAN connected backup devices including D2DT devices. Strong knowledge of performance benchmarking/tuning at a host, fabric, and storage level. Ability to deal with all levels of personnel throughout the company, outside vendors and suppliers.Provide remote technical assistance as needed on nights and weekends.
