Description• Lead an effective Safety, Health and Environmental Program to achieve plant and BCVS Objectives• Manage Safety Process Implementation, Waste Management/Recycling, Spill Prevention and Emergency Control, Medical Wellness Program, Ergonomic Improvements, Environmental Permitting, Worker’s Compensation, Coolant Management, Security Control• Develop HSE Training plan and training team• Lead effective Ergonomics Program• Coordinate Property Loss Programs• Assure compliance of state and local laws impacting HSE• Lead and coach employee teams•Participate as effective member of Huntington Leadership TeamRequired Skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to lead, motivate and influence others to obtain objectives• Mature judgment and decision making ability• Work well within a team environment• Multitask and Time management• Apply Six Sigma tools to the function for performance improvements•Must be fluent in Microsoft Office and related software packagesRequired Experience• BS Degree in engineering, environmental industrial hygiene or related science• Experience with behavioral safety techniques preferred• CSP and/or CHMM preferred• Six Sigma Certification Preferred• Previous managerial experience preferred• 5 years HS&E experience in a manufacturing environment
