HR Administrator

Summary:  Responsible for managing the daily human resource operations for the St. Cloud facility.  Administers employee relations programs, employee advocacy and affirmative action.  Interfaces with employees, management, vendors educational, state and governmental agencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.  Screens potential job applicants administering the Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Programs.

     -  Responsible for the entire recruitment process, from the internal job posting through new hire orientation.

     -  Establishes, maintains, and updates all employee personnel files, medical files, and discretionary action files insuring accuracy and confidentiality.

     -  Adheres to all state and federal requirements by law.

2.  Provides ADP and E-time super user support to department in the form of assistance, training and reports.

3.  Participates in the development, implementation and administration of the performance review program, salary administration program.  Participates in the development of department goals and objectives.

4.  Generates pay exception reports and processes employee changes.

     -  Posts, tracks and maintains all attendance records.

     -  Works closely with the TRF Payroll Manager in relation to state and federal law regulations.

5.  Works closely with and provides administrative support to the Plant Manager.

6.  Maintains an attitude and philosophy consistent with company standard.

     -  Helps employees, supervisors, and leaders to settle work-related conflicts through advice, recommendation and counseling, investigations and addresses problems and assists in problem resolution.

7.  Administers various employee benefit programs, such as life, medical and retirement.

     -  Initiates all forms and arranges for their completion and submission within time limits.

     -  Works directly with the Benefits Manager in resolving issues pertaining to insurance carriers and payment of claims.

8.  Manages all aspects of office administration, company benefits and programs, payroll workers compensation, OSHA, unemployment, advertising and office purchases.

9.  Investigates worker compensations claims.

     -  Maintains all records and compiles reports, including entry and maintenance of the OSHA 200 log.

10. Responsible for termination paperwork, exit interviews, monthly turnover reports and tracking turnover trends.

Qualifications:

1.  Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to manage sensitive and confidential situations and material.

2.  Analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports and find solutions to various administrative and financial problems and/or loss.

3.  Work requires continual attention to detail, establishing priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met.

4.  Ability to learn, apply and share knowledge of ADP and E-time software.

Education and/or Experience:

1.  Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field.

2.  Minimum three years experience in the Human Resources field.
