General Accountant

This position will primarily support centralized functions of the accounting department as needed.  This individual will support the General Accounting Manager and North America Controller in processing centralized functions.

 Primary Responsibilities:

· Maintenance report writer

· Chart of Accounts and Vendor Master File Maintenance

· Record Retention – Journal Entries, Account Reconciliations, Financial Statements

· Prepare monthly journal entries and required account reconciliations

· Prepare Allocated Balance Sheet and Overheads for Florence Site and Hanover

· Review departmental reports to identify and research excessive variances

· Maintenance Cost tracking

· Perform monthly consolidations and work with other sites to resolve any issues

· Other duties as assigned to support department

 Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a related field

· Ability to work in fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude with individuals in and outside of the department

· Detailed oriented

· Proficient with Microsoft Excel
