GL Accountant Position Avail ASAP!

CITY/STATE: SFV, CAPOSITION TYPE: Full Time, EmployeeJOB CATEGORY: Accounting/Finance/Insurance GL Accountant Position Avail ASAP!      Primary Responsibilities: · Perform internal auditing of general ledger, account reconciliations, and participate in month end closings.· Reconcile Cash on a daily basis as well as Accounts Receivable and Payroll journal entries.· Perform all sales and use tax reporting, business taxes and property taxes.· Maintain inter-company reconciliations and related billing processes· Maintain monthly close calendar to track all reporting system deadlines prior to month end close.· Maintain fixed asset schedules and coordinate physical inventory of fixed assets.· Post ERP transactions daily· Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and prepare correcting journal entries.· Reconcile AR and AP to Agings monthly. · Identify and resolve system and accounting issues and coordinate with other employees within accounting and operations as required.· Assist in preparation of DCAA Incurred Cost Schedules in support of completing all ICE schedules and or other projects as assigned.· Supports outside auditors on an annual basis, by providing reports and schedules.  Recommend Experience:· At least 7 years of accounting experience in manufacturing environment · Must have strong proficiency with advanced Excel and ERP systems.· Must be focused and possess a high ability to multitask· Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal skills  Recommended Education:BS Degree in Accounting, CPA or CMA preferred  Please respond attaching your resume in Word format to caponte@ledgent.com   About Ledgent Ledgent is a full service accounting and finance placement firm offering temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct hire staffing services.
