Financial Risk Analyst

 

Steel Dynamics, Inc., the fifth largest producer of carbon steel in the U.S., and one of the nation’s largest metals recyclers, is seeking to fill a Financial Risk Analyst opening. This new position, which is located at the corporate office in Fort Wayne, IN, will be responsible for preparing the quarterly legal summary, assist in SEC filings, and analysis of risk prospective.  Responsibilities relating to insurance, including monitoring and coordinating exposure, claims, renewals, audits, and certification, will be a significant focus of this position.

 

A minimum of three years finance, accounting, or risk experience, plus a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, is required.  Public accounting, relevant corporate experience, and CPA or MBA is a plus.  The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills.  Occasional travel required.
