M/D Totco is part of the National Oilwell Varco family of companies.  Our company manufactures and provides services to performance based drilling instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition and controls.  This position will be located in our Cedar Park, TX headquarters. 

The Financial Reporting & Planning Analyst position is responsible for developing, enhancing and managing the processes to prepare and report financial information (actual and forecast) for the instrumentation business in a timely and accurate manner.   We are looking for a results-oriented professional who is capable of significantly contributing to and increasing company performance and profits.  The analyst will work with Finance and operational/functional departments to develop, present and implement solutions for improved company wide reporting and controls. The individual must demonstrate self-confidence with strong technical accounting and a willingness to challenge and/or take a stand on critical issues.

 

The qualified candidate will have a BS/BA in Accounting.  CPA is a preferred.  A minimum of three to five years of related accounting experience with an international company is required.  Prior experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Smartview and HENRII is desired along with excellent understanding of MS Office Suite tools.  We are looking for an individual with outstanding interpersonal, managerial, analytical, and problem solving skills.  The ability to travel up to 20% is required.
