Currently, we are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our newly formed Regional Accounting Center for the Valves Business Unit located in Easley, SC. The candidate selected for this opportunity will be responsible for developing new reports to better understand budget and forecast sales and margin variances, lead sales and margin forecasting, and support investment decisions in a multi-plant environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Represent Valves NA as the lead BIW Super User on global report development projectsAssist with month end closing and monthly reportingPerform monthly sales and margin analysis by product line by customer / part numberImplement use of customer pricing analysis report from BIWLead monthly sales forecasting process by product line by customer / part numberSupport monthly P&L forecasting processLead sales budget development processWork with Technical Sales Support regarding low flyer analysisSupport development of GDP sales and capacity planning toolReview capital expenditure requests and coordinate capital planningAssist controller and product line managers with special projects Lead presentations to local management team and in regional training events as neededDevelopment and preparation of management reports required
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance ROI analysis and cash flow modeling experience required4 - 6 years experience in a manufacturing environment Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills Ability to work independentlyExperience with SAP R3 CO module and Business Intelligence Warehouse a plusMicrosoft Office experience requiredDesire to lead process improvements
