The Financial Analyst will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties associated with a high-tech equipment manufacturer. The most successful candidate will have the ability to reconcile many diverse sources of data and produce timely, accurate, informative reports. This person reports to the Cost Accounting Manager and will work closely with Costing. The required duties primarily consist of month end close activities, general ledger entries, account reconciliations, service revenue recognition, reserve calculations, warranty accounting, cost allocation and profitability reporting by business unit. Additional tasks can include part costing, variance analysis, metric reporting and financial analysis of cost related issues. He or she will also assist in developing effective cost accounting processes, controls and documentation ensuring compliance to all internal controls and GAAP requirements.

Bachelors degree in Accounting required. CPA or CMA is a plus. Must have a minimum of three years experience in manufacturing cost accounting environment as well as experience in all aspects of cost accounting. Experience with SAP and Microsoft Access strongly preferred. Individual must have strong analytical and communication skills, and have the ability to work independently. Individual must have the ability to work with people at all levels of the organization from senior executives to entry level manufacturing people.
