Financial Analyst - Great Career Move!!

My client is a large publicly traded company located in Baltimore.  They are searching for someone with a strong background in accounting, finance, and systems.  Working as a Liaison between IT and Accounting.Accounting knowledge required - know debits/credits - then strong systems - troubleshoot OR involved in implementations Main Focus - strong Finance with a troubleshooting system issues strength. KNOW an ERP system - Any experience with ERP systems is considered JOB-60-70% production support 30% project based with a finance impact Know project management, flow cycle - and testing cycle - how data flows thru accounting modules. Will see all modules that affect G/L in Oracle Job Information: · Financial report writing in Oracle ERP and Oracle Discoverer · Application testing in GL, AP, AR, FA, Cost, ADI, Hyperion · Support Financial staff in Oracle production issues · Help support IT Dept in testing and implementation of patches, bug fixes, and enhancements · Documentation control of financial setups and business procedures · BS Degree – Accounting or Finance related · 3 to 5 years experience in Accounting/Finance or Information Systems Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
