Financial Analyst
Responsibilities:
·       Ensures maintenance of effective internal controls to assure safeguarding of assets and reliability of financial statements.
·       In cooperation with other functional leadership implement Lean process redesign across all administrative and operations activities.
·       Provides financial analysis support for manufacturing and channel distribution.
·       Provide leadership for design and implementation of financial systems and processes.
·       Oversees preparation of monthly financial statements, budget to actual analysis and MD&A.
·       Prepares financial reporting information required for executive leadership
·       Assists in resolving accounting and financial problems and/or issues.
·       Assists in the preparation of annual budgets and cash flow projections.
·       Supports financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
·       Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
·       Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives.
·       Perform additional duties as requested by the plant manager and executive staff.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
 Proven leadership skills in a change environment. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Experience implementing automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
·       Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
