Field Service Technician-CA

 

This Rancho Dominguez, CA manufacturing company seeks an experienced Field Service Technician.

 

· Load bank testing of new and used generator sets.

· Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with control and mechanical systems.

· Repair of customer and MQ owned power generation equipment.

· Guiding less experienced technicians in the repair of equipment as required.

· Field service of generator sets to support service department work load.

· May be required to be “On Call” for after hour’s response.

· Must be able to work without direct supervision.

· Assist in other duties as may be assigned by management.

· Must supply own hand tools.

 

Experience/Skills/Abilities

· Seven plus years experience with power generation equipment service and repair.

· High School diploma or GED.

· Experience with major repair or overhaul of engine driven equipment.

· Understanding of AC and DC theory.

· Mechanical aptitude.
