This position is responsible for delivering advanced level QCS technical support to Smurfit Stone Container Corporation located in Jacksonville, FL. Position provides resolution of customer problems through timely and effective responsiveness enabling customer satisfaction by working with appropriate Honeywell and customer resources for resolution.  Services provided include, consulting, trouble-shooting, control optimization, system performance monitoring and reporting as well as other related tasks as identified.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for providing resident continuing services for a Pulp and Paper Customer located Jacksonville, FL.Equipment responsibilities include one Da Vinci QCS system, one MxOpen as well as associated Cross Direction Controls installed on linerboard processPerform Preventive, Corrective and Emergency maintenance on customer's QCS equipmentIndependently troubleshoot and solve system and process related problemsBasic working knowledge of tuning MD and CD loopsWrite monthly system performance reports for assigned systemsMaintain all required site and system documentationDocument results in writing to the customer Sales ProcessPossess/develop comprehensive knowledge of entire product and services portfolio and routinely consult with both customer and field sales force.Actively interface with customers at all levelsEnsures customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.Provide 7 X 24 emergency support Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
QCS - Da Vinci, MxOpen, and associated sensors / CD'sBasic understanding of MD & CD controlsPulp and Paper process SkillsPossess skills required for problem resolutionCapable in performing preventive/predictive maintenanceCapable of troubleshooting our equipment and customers process Microsoft, PC, and networking abilities

Basic Qualifications: Pulp and Paper process Skills3-5 Years experience with Da Vinci QCS system, or MxOpenWilling to be on call 7 X 2 for emergency support
