Compensation Range: $41,000-$78,000 depending on experience

Summary: Under the direction of the Field Service Manager, provide after-sales service of generator products.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
The principal activities of this job are to analyze customer problems, to collect and record product and technical information. To summarize findings, to report product troubles as well as contractual troubles, to advise on "action required" and is therefore responsible to provide feedback to enable product improvements. To direct the assigned labor force to ensure that equipment is built to the required standards and procedures relating to installation, commissioning, start-up, repair or maintenance work of customer's equipment. If required, attends coordination meetings, reviews and recommends spare parts requirements in connection with a minor/major field project. Although some activities are covered by policy, precedent, or standard procedures, most of the work has to be planned and supervised by the service representative based on actual site requirements. Advises customer on operating and maintenance procedures recommends proper parts stocking and overhaul programs to minimize equipment downtime. Assists in performance testing / evaluation. Must be willing to accept to work under varying conditions and different customers. Individual has daily contact with customer staff and subcontractor labor and must be capable of representing the company in a positive manner. Must be capable of calming bad situations and in promoting other business opportunities such as shop repairs, parts, upgrades, modifications, new apparatus and field service, both service time and on-site activity.

5 Years experience in the field of turbo machinery Strong mechanical and thermodynamic aptitude to be able to work on all company products and similar products of other OEMs. Knowledge of electrical and digital systems Ability to read and understand drawings and technical documentation Ability to document job activities in written service reports

Education/Experience:
Two years college/technical school or equivalent experience experience/education
