Job Description Field Service Engineer - Sector ICP-MS Thermo Fisher Scientific is looking for a field service engineer to be based anywhere in the United States. The field service engineer will represent the company in a positive, professional manner in all dealings with customers, both external and internal; receive customer service requests; contact the customer to schedule services required and ensures that the schedule meets the customer’s needs.The field service engineer will also develop a plan to help sell service contracts, parts, accessories, consumables, software, upgrades and training to the customer base, while working toward the regional revenue goals defined by management.  The field service engineer will also act as a Thermo Fisher advocate in all capacities in customer laboratories; report daily activities to customer support administration department for accurate record keeping, including closing service calls daily upon completion.An associate degree or equivalent experience is required along with 2-3 years of field service experience.
