Field Service Engineer (FSE) - Newark, NJ Area (THIS IS NOT AN I.T. POSITION!!!)

This position will be based out of the Newark, NJ area.  It will require extensive customer interaction and approximately 60-75% regional overnight travel.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Implement new automated machinery installations with hospital clients - includes staff from Pharmacy, IT, and Plant EngineeringProvide on-site post installation support which includes technical troubleshooting upgrades and preventive maintenanceGenerate detailed field service reports for all levels of management Work closely with engineering to identify serviceability issuesDevelop technical documentation such as service bulletins, preventive maintenance procedures, etc.Available to address client issues on a 24*7 schedule

Qualifications

 A.S. in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent education and experienceStrong aptitude with electro-mechanical systems, preferably automated, robotic systemsAbility to interpret mechanical and electrical drawingsWorking knowledge of PC software/hardware applications and accessories3 years experience working in a similar role, preferably in a hospital environmentExcellent documentation and interpersonal skills
