 DESCRIPTION

OASIS Alignment Services has been in business for 25 years and is the recognized industry expert in the precision alignment and maintenance of large industrial production equipment. Using optical and laser instrumentation, OASIS engineers and field service technicians perform inspections, alignment adjustments and maintenance on a wide range of equipment including paper machines, corrugators, coaters, web press printers, extruders, film lines and more.

OASIS is looking for a Field Service Engineer who will travel to customer facilities and perform equipment alignment inspections, adjustments and machinery maintenance. Applicants must have a strong knowledge of geometry and trigonometry and experience with MS Office and CAD. A four-year Mechanical Engineering degree is strongly preferred.  Applicants with a minimum of five years experience in a related field will be considered.  This position requires travel on a regular basis.

OASIS looks for people who are eager to progress. The right candidate can expect to move to Engineering Team Leader within a 1-3 year time period, depending on skill set and the drive to succeed.

 

 REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have a strong knowledge of geometry and trigonometry and a working knowledge of MS Office and CAD.  Technical report writing is a plus.  A four-year Mechanical Engineering Degree is strongly preferred. Applicants with a minimum of five years experience in a related field will also be considered.
