Factory Controller

Our Company is subsidiary of a fast growing multinational company. We are currently seeking a Factory Controller for our Miami manufacturing facility located in North Miami Beach, FL west of I-95. 

Summary of Position:Position reports daily to the Plant Manager and has financial reporting responsibility to Corporate ControllerHands on position responsible for all aspects of Accounting, Reporting, and AnalysisAct as liaison between manufacturing and finance departmentsRequired to prepare monthly analysis and reports of manufacturing costs by productMaintain and modify product costing models to reflect current product flows, manufacturing process, material consumption, etcMonitor inventory levels and establish accounting controlsAssist in implementation of new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV) Ensure all production and financial transactiond are accurately and timely processed through the systemAssist manufacturing personnel and provide recommendations on cost reductionReview and approve purchase orders / sales invoicesReconciliation and roll forward analysis of various sales and production cycle accounts (e.g. Sales, COS, inventory, receivables, etc.)Review and analysis of non-manufacturing (SG&A) expensesPrepare or update monthly forecastsPrepare annual income statement and working capital budget

 

 

Experience/Education:

 

A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Bachelor’s degree in Finance or AccountingGood knowledge of manufacturing processCost accounting / cost volume profit analysis experience Strong analytical skillStrong communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience with Microsoft Dynamic NAV a plusSpanish language a plus but is not required
