Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician II Division: MFG- Camas
Reports To: Facilities Supervisor Department: Maintenance

SUMMARY
Under close supervision, installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures and maintains the landscape sprinkler system by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain and operate the sprinkler system for the lawn.
Dismantle defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
Perform routine preventive maintenance operations as required by company procedures.
Utilize standard hand, portable power tools and large equipment.
Repair and maintain physical structure and other pieces of equipment and office furniture.
Move office furniture as requested.
Install/repair ceiling tiles, light bulbs and ballasts as needed.
Perform some carpentry work.
Paint the interior and exterior of facility as needed.
Drive a forklift as needed.
Experience trouble shooting and repairing electrical circuitry on CNC machines.
Knowledge of commercial and residential wiring.
Perform all job functions in a safe manner.
Work well with coworkers, managers and vendors.
Maintain excellent attendance.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and listen. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
