FINANCIAL ANALYST

EnerSys, the world leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications, has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst at our manufacturing facility in Cleveland, OH.  This individual will be responsible for:

 

- reconciling the hourly payroll, including maintaining all ADP updates and data entry

- preparing monthly journal entries to close site cost center in accordance with GAAP

- tracking and maintaining Cost Improvement Program with external input into the CIP tracker program

- assisting in the completion of annual budgets and monthly forecasts

- performing cost rolls when required by manufacturing

- completing and analyzing daily/monthly shipping reports

- tracking and maintaining all Fixed Asset activity through both the general ledger and FAS fixed asset system, including all close-outs and disposals of capital projects

- weekly and monthly Imprest tracking

- backing up Controller, as needed

 

The selected candidate must have a BS in accounting/auditing/finance or at least 3 years of financial experience in a manufacturing environment; knowledge of GAAP; excellent communication skills, good analytical skills, and proficiency using Microsoft Office
