Export Specialist - Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:

Currently accepting applications for a full-time Export Specialist - Customer Service Reprsentative position in a challenging and fast paced environment with a rapidly expanding company.  This is a new position based in Springfield, MO.

 

This is a diverse position with a wide variety of responsibilities requiring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and have a good attitude no matter the task at hand.

 

This position will be learning product lines for the pharmaceutical, food, dairy, and beverage processing industries.  In addition, there is extensive training on distribution and customer relationship management software, as well as CSI procedures.  Ultimately, the position performs such tasks as taking customer calls, entering and expediting customer orders, purchasing drop ship orders and making product recommendations to meet customer needs.

 

This position requires a mechanical aptitude, exceptional organizational skills, computer proficiency, and initiative.  The ability to multi-task is a must!  The successful candidate will be developed into a Customer Service Representative within 12 to 18 months. 

 

Standard workday is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

 

Education: 

High school graduate or GED; required

AAS / BS; preferred

Proficient computer skills (word, excel, outlook); required

Customer service, including order entry experience; required

Good telephone etiquette; required

10-key/data entry experience; required

Mechanical aptitude; required

Stainless steel or metals-related industry experience; helpful

Sanitary process industry experience; helpful



 

Desired Experience:

4 - 7 Import / Export experience; required
