Established over 25 years ago, we have multiple locations nationwide and are growing rapidly.What you will be doing:The primary purpose of the position is to provide support and to maintain environmental reporting, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements. • Establish and drive continuous improvement in the facilities environmental monitoring and recordkeeping data management systems to ensure compliance with all policies and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. • Evaluate and determine appropriate permitting and abatement strategies for projects at the plant that may have an impact on existing air quality permits. • Ensure the proper onsite management and offsite disposal of solid, universal, and hazardous wastes and lead a plant-wide effort to minimize waste through pollution prevention techniques. • Maintain MSDS, VOC, and all waste stream documentation. • Lead Plant Haz Mat Team. • Ensure all reports, inspections, and environmental audits are preformed on time and complete.What you need for this position:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. • Undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline; • Minimum of 3 years experience in maintaining local, state, and federal air permitting and waste disposal requirements in a finishing operation; wood related preferred. • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations related to air, water, solid waste and hazardous waste management. • Excellent personal computer skills in a network environment; Microsoft products experience preferred - Outlook-Word-Excel • Track record of successful project management • Experience with implementing Title V permits requirements. • Hazwopper (29CFR1910.1200) Certification is a plus • Experience in working in a team environment • Strong planning/Organization & Time Management skills • Demonstrated problem solving skillsSo, if you have 3+ years experience in maintaining local, state, and federal air permitting and waste disposal requirements in a finishing operation and are looking to work around the Kingman, AZ area ...
