Entry Level Engineering Positions

The Hubbell High Voltage Test Business is composed of the Hipotronics brand in the USA, the Haefely and Tettex brands in Switzerland and the Robinson Instruments brand in the United Kingdom.  These companies are all leaders in the field of high voltage test equipment and electronic instrumentation, each with 50 to 100 years of experience in laboratories, power utilities and manufacturers of transmission and distribution apparatus, substation automation, consumer electronics, aerospace and telecommunications equipment.

 

Rotational training opportunities are available to allow engineers to experience all aspects of the high technology manufacturing business.  Half of Hipotronics’ partners and end customers are overseas, which provides extensive travel opportunities throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

 

Recent graduates with AS or BS degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines are encouraged to apply for our Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Technical Sales Engineering, Highbay Test Engineering, Field Service Engineering and Co-op Engineering positions.

 

Other requirements:Willingness to relocate to the Brewster, NY area (Zip Code: 10509);Coursework in High Voltage and/or Magnetic Design and/or the design of analog and digital control and instrumentation circuits a plus!Good working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCad, required;Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving abilities; Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interact and maintain effective relationships with other employees; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Ability to understand and practice standard safety procedures; Must be currently eligible for employment in the United States.
