Chromalox is seeking Entry Level Electrical Engineers at our Tennessee location.
Designs and develops new/improved products and components, performs major re-design of existing products to update specifications and significantly reduce cost. Products are to be marketable and meet established performance specifications and fulfill corporate profit goals.Required Skills
Conducts feasibility study for development project to ascertain capability of design and manufacture of product. Performs design work to develop and engineer new products to meet specifications and tolerances that can be manufactured at favorable costs. Creates specifications, drawings, and bill of material for designated product.Selects components considering quality and performance in relationship with other parts and costs. Prepares development model test procedures and specifies test limits for evaluating conformity with performance requirements. Evaluates pre-production models to confirm and test design. Assists customers, representatives, and production employees as needed with application issues. Required Experience
Education: B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering. Skills: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, ability to develop reports and effective correspondence; and ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
