Enterprise Applications Technical Analyst - ECM
The Senior Technical Analyst for Content Management (ECM) is responsible for translating the ECM business requirements into functional and technical requirements. The individual will work with Business Partners, other IT Teams and vendors to define, coordinate and implement solutions consistent with Navistar's vision, strategy and architectural directions. The ideal candidate must have experience with designing Enterprise Content Management systems, or designing Document Management or Records Management systems, helping organizations establish best practices and strategies in this arena. Will be assigned projects of diverse scope with minimal supervision. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration; or 7 years administrative application support experience At least 5 years administrative application support experience Availability to travel up to 25% of the time Desired Skills: Positive Attitude, Ethics, and International Values which support our company's values, and a healthy, high performance culture Knowledge of Kofax Ascent Capture software, Stellent software, or other capture and document management software. Technical knowledge of Windows operating systems, architecture, configuration and protocol. Experience with application upgrades and troubleshooting application issues. Experience developing SQL Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project). Knowledge of project management and business analysis methodologies. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Sound judgment and reasoning skills. Excellent communication skills (oral and written) including strong presentation skills. Ability to translate functional designs into technical designs, and conversely to translate complex information into common terms. Ability to both facilitate and actively participate in meetings with representatives from multiple business and/or IT units. Develops a positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members, and is able to influence decisions at the work group level. Demonstrates strong time management, organizational, & administrative skills. Participation in large complex projects with large scope and wide visibility. Multiple years of experience in defining and documenting functional requirements. In-depth working knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle(SDLC). Experience in assessing business needs and selecting the right analytic approach for the problem at hand. Knowledge of information design concepts and taxonomy development. Experience gathering requirements and developing process maps. Experience in estimating effort for all areas of the SDLC. Experience evaluating, piloting, selecting, deploying and supporting diverse ECM vendor technologies including records management, document management, collaboration, work flow, imaging, etc. Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to non-technical audience.
