Engineering Lab Supervisor

Frozen Beverage Dispensers (FBD) has an immediate opening for an Engineering Lab Supervisor.This individual must possess good analytical, technical, organizational, and people skills to troubleshoot issues, motivate team members, and strive for continuous improvements in product/process quality, productivity, housekeeping, and safety.

 

This position will require for them to to interface with Engineers on daily test requirements and direct the activities of lab personnel engaged in product evaluation testing.  This individual will be responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining testing schedules, quality systems and controls, procedures for technical training and operation of test instrumentation, instrument calibrations, and inventory.

 

Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field highly desired.Previous experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment with progressively responsible positions.Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience preferred.Minimum five (5) years experience, with test instrumentation, product evaluation, and troubleshooting.Understanding of test instrumentation, electrical schematics, plumbing, and refrigeration systems required.Computer skills:  Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Access Database.Technical Writing skills required: Ability to process flowcharts, control charts, and operating procedures documentation.Strong organizational skills required.Troubleshooting skills required.Excellent interpersonal communication skills with proven ability to interact successfully with individuals at all levels of the organization.Detail- oriented with strong technical and analytical skills.
