Under general supervision, performs routine to moderate engineering tasks to assist in product and/or process design and/or modification. Incumbent will meet the engineering design and documentation requirements for a Family of Military Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) by designing, developing, analyzing, testing and implementing designs and improvements that are ultimately incorporated on the production line. Bachelors degree in related Engineer Discipline is required. Knowledge of and experience in the use of computers and job related software, including word processing, along with 2+ years of engineering experience. Applicable engineering related to the particular position, e.g. Electrical Analysis, Testing or Mechanical, etc. is required.Incumbent has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Experience in the area of Military contractual requirements, specifications and/or vehicular engineering design desired. The incumbent must be able to successfully administer multiple projects simultaneously in a stressful and demanding environment.
