Engineer - Foundry
Waukesha Manufacturing, a wholly owned subsidiary of Navistar International Corporation, is a globally competitive and world class provider of engineered Ductile Iron cast products and value added services to Heavy-Duty Truck, Engine, Rail and other key Non-Automotive Manufacturing Market segments. The Engineer-Foundry will provide design and technical support for mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems of machines and processes in the foundry operations. This position is responsible for planning, initiating, coordinating and conducting investigations and analyses of foundry operating practices to include developing methods and procedures. The Engineer-Foundry will be responsible for implementing all engineering changes including alterations to existing and new equipment. They will also be responsible to act as liaison with internal maintenance, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, accounting and other areas for project completion on behalf of the Plant Engineering Department. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science At least 7 years of Engineering or Product Development experience Experience developing methods and procedures for foundry processes. Capable of conducting investigation and analysis of foundry operating practices. Design and development expereince of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems for foundry operations. Ability to travel 25 % of time is required.
