Electronic Work Cell Assembler

The Safety and Security Systems Group, based in University Park, IL is a division of Federal Signal Corporation, a $1.2B company. This division designs and manufactures a suite of products and integrated solutions for municipal, governmental and industrial customers. We are currently seeking an Electronic Work Cell Assembler for 2nd shift.  Shift hours are 3:30pm to 11:30pm.

Typical duties for this position would include: * Perform duties to identify, select, assemble and or solder a variety of Electronic/Electro-Mechanical components/assemblies. * Perform simple and complex wire and soldering operations. * Performs Go/No testing of Switch Modules and Electronic sirens. * Work from blue prints, schedules, shop orders, spec sheets, process instructions, and test instructions, written or on CRT. * Be able to performer on chassis and Printed Circuit Board assemblies.

Requirements for this position include:* High school diploma or GED required. * 1 to 2 years production work experience preferred.
