You will unleash the potential of your talents as never before.Electrical EngineerThis position is based in Cummins Emission Solutions, Mineral Point, WI. Key Responsibilities:' Engineer will be an active member of a manufacturing team developing electrical systems for existing manufacturing systems. ' Will be responsible for upgrading and maintaining existing electrical systems in the plant. ' Allen Bradley and Omron PLC programming, their interfacing including HMI and machine integration and requirement analysis. ' Developing tools to reduce engineering cost and improve engineering accuracy. ' Part of the robotics system design team and trouble shooting of the controllers and other associated components. ' Trouble shooting on the LASER welding and cutting equipment, oven and automated material handling systems.' The team will also develop and document design use practices, change control, and archiving practices to maintain control of system design criteria.' Engineer will develop capability of fully designed electrical systems, including selection of components, PLC programming (as mentioned above), interconnections, testing, and installation practices.' Engineer will develop skills necessary to confidently specify and design interfaces between Cummins products to enhance installed system reliability, performance, and cost effectiveness. Skills:Master Science in Manufacturing/Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with two years of experience in manufacturing environmentGood oral and written communication skillsSoftware skills:- MS word, Power point and Excel- AutoCAD (Design and drafting)- Maximo (Maintenance software)- PLC programmingSKILLS - TEAMWORK:- Able to interact effectively and professionally with customers, other team members, engineers, operators, managers and maintenance personnel- Self directed and motivated: able to identify work to be done and then do it. - Multitasking: Able to work on multiple issues simultaneously.- Able to plan effectively and keep project/improvement work moving forward in a timely mannerSKILLS - LEADERSHIP:- Candidate should have good leadership skills.
