Education Coordinator - CAD/CAM

straumann, a global leader in the rapidly growing Dental Implant market seeks an energetic and accomplished Education Coordinator to focus on our CAD/CAM business - to work in conjunction with the various team members of the Education Department and the CAD/CAM Sales Organization as the primary and/or secondary individual responsible for education program and event planning. Individual should be a team oriented person with strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and solid administrative and computer skills. 

Opportunity Responsibilities

Individual will have front-line responsibility as a resource and for the logistics involved in delivering high quality continuing education programming for the Straumann CAD/CAM organization. Examples of the responsibilities prevalent with this position include the following: Outside speaker suggestion and negotiation as required, Budget activities including post-program analysis and reconciliation, Project management of marketing material, Venue, A/V and catering selection (negotiation and management) as required, Maintenance of Straumann CE accreditation standards and policies, and Knowledge of Straumann CAD/CAM products for on-site course activities. Indiviudal will also be tasked with any associated administrative tasks, post program evaluation analysis for the educational database, and relationship management of the Straumann education faculty. You will be responsible for regional and/or local marketing as related to programs including direct mail, event and website advertising - in support of 15+ CAD/CAM Territory Managers.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with excellent organization, oral, interpersonal and written communication skills - someone with strength in problem solving and customer service, detail oriented in nature with the ability to multitask. Individual should have a basic understanding of aspects of event planning and meeting managment. You will need to be proficient in MS Office, possess good organizational skills and have the ability to work well in a team.

Experience and Education

Minimum of 4 years experience in a professional work environment required. Prior dental and/or medical experience a plus, and some college is preferred.
