ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN, DESIGNER DRAFTER

This position is responsible for assisting the engineering staff in the creation and maintenance of technical design documentation, such as engineering drawings, CAD models, change notices, and bills of material. This position will include ownership of small design projects as directed. • 3+ years experience as designer/drafter in an equipment or machinery manufacturing company or a related industry. • 3+ years experience creating service manual type documentation in equipment or machinery manufacturing company or a related industry. • Working familiarity with manufacturing processes: o Metal cutting o Machining o Forming o Assembly • Experience working with engineers on hydraulic and electrical schematic detailing • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Sufficient analytical skill to convert vague concepts or instructions into drawings • Working knowledge of ANSI G. D. & T. • Ability to work well under pressure • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Minimum three years experience in the following areas: • Software - Solidworks, AutoCad, Word, Excel, Acrobat • Creation and maintenance of engineering models and Bills of Materials • Ability to generate engineering drawings • PDMWorks experience a plus If interested, please apply online at http://track.jobviper.com/ViewJob.asp?id=552291-3-233
