ENGINEER - MECHANICAL & METALLURGICAL
ENGINEERS – MECHANICAL & METALLURGICALMECHANICAL ENGINEERS- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Our project Engineers work with new production line projects as well as expansion projects and maintenance modifications to existing production lines. Project work is from the design phase through actual installation by in-house construction crews. Engineers oversee the construction crews.METALLURGICAL ENGINEERS- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering. The job involves the support of all Heat Treating production lines as well as the supervision of our Metallurgical Lab. Heat Treating processes include gas fired open hearth furnaces, as well as induction heat treating. QUALIFICATIONS- Ability to handle multiple projects and time lines simultaneously.- Ability to make decisions and work in a fast paced environment.- Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal and teamwork skills.- Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.- Establish and maintain good working relationships with coworkers.Texas Steel Conversion, Inc. was established in 1976 and is a privately held corporation.
