Job Title:  Driver / Warehouse

Reports to:  President and CEO

Wage: Starting $15/hr

 

Small and growing company needs a self-starter to effectively and accurately handle delivery and warehouse duties.  This team player must work well independently, have an eagerness to learn, be flexible and take on new challenges as the business changes.

 

 

BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Driver / Warehouse:  Driving one ton truck pulling 28’ and 40’ gooseneck trailers.  Load and unload material, deliver material, inventory, misc duties.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS & BASIC SKILLS (required)

CDL – 2 year minimum

High school diploma or equivalent

 

 

SKILLS / ABILITIES / KNOWLEDGE

Accuracy/ Efficiency:  Double check work.  Complete tasks in a timely manner.

 

Communication / Instructions:

Follow verbal and written instructions.  Ensure that all interactions with staff, customers, and vendors are supportive, courteous, and respectful. 

 

Teamwork:  Work in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our company.  Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and vendors.

 

 

EXPECTATIONS

Works independently and asserts self to get things done without being told or reminded.  Maintain regular, consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures.

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (not required)

Metal knowledge
