Job Overview:

Big Ass Fans is seeking a Drafting & Design Technician to join our Engineering Department.  Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, you will be in the vital role of preparing and detailing engineering documents of the Engineering and Manufacturing departments. We are looking for a self-starter who is well-organized and can hit the ground running. 

 

Essential functions of the position:Convert component and assembly computer models to 2-D detailed drawings.Develop 3D modeling of individual components. Manage all modification change orders to 2-D and 3-D drawings to assure all engineers agree with the change and all third party requirements are met.Manage the transfer of files from R&D folders to a secure database for released products to limit the possibility of unauthorized changes.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Experience in parametric modeling.Experience with SolidWorks.
