Franklin Electric, a manufacturer and distributor of innovative pumps and water movement components, continues to out pace the water movement market with our progressive and innovative products.  We are currently seeking a talented Drafter for our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility. 

 

Responsibilities:Development and maintenance of component, subassembly and assembly mechanical detail drawings utilizing knowledge of engineering practices, mathematics, manufacturing technology, and related physical sciences.Development and maintenance of bill of materials, item files and other associated engineering documentation.Development of illustrations for instruction sheets, operating manuals, Sales literature and product packaging.Maintaining and completing assigned projects.Other responsibilities may be assigned.



Requirements:Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related Sciences and 3 years related experience and/or training in the field of machine/mechanical drafting.Familiarity with ANSI Drafting Standards, including orthographic drawing, sectioning and geometric tolerance dimensioning.Proficient in AutoCad 2006 or later and familiar with solid modeling software.Proficiency in ProE solid modeling software preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (i.e. Word, Excel, etc).Proficient with measurement tools, including scales, calipers, etc.Qualified individual must be comfortable working on fast paced engineering projects under the guidance of a project or product engineer.
