This position will provide support to management team and assigned area of the distribution center.  Flexes as necessary to meet business needs.

General Duties and Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day supervisory support for one or more operating segments of a given department in a high volume production and warehousing environment.Accountable for the effective execution of day-to-day activities supporting departmental metrics including productivity, quality and cost.Coach and develop hourly Associates to achieve departmental standards.Requires effective communication and organizational skills across departmental lines.Ability to work flexible shifts as required.Ability to multi-task with a variety of responsibilities an accountability for results.Accountability for the results and performance of up to 50 hourly Associates.Must have 1-3 years experience in a production and/or warehousing environment, preferably in a Supervisory or other leadership role.Ability to perform 80% of time on the warehouse floor interacting with Associates and others to maintain daily production and quality standards.Administers corrective actions, appraisals, and other coaching tools for Associates.Independently resolves problems and makes staffing recommendations to management.Previous exposure to computer technology and the use of this technology to perform day-to-day Supervisory responsibilities.Responsible for the safety of all personnel and equipment within their department.Previous accountability and proven performance in maintaining required production standards in a manufacturing or warehousing environment.Proven coaching skills and the ability to effectively communicate at virtually all levels of the organization.
