The Company

Our client, a manufacturer of cutting edge transportation equipment, is seeking a Director of Total Quality Management.  This position is located at Corporate Headquarters near Manchester, New Hampshire.

 The Opportunity

The Director of Total Quality Management will be responsible for the leadership all quality systems in support of the business strategy, goals and objectives.  This highly visible position will report to the Vice President of Operations.  The Director of Total Quality Management will enjoy the challenge of leading the organization in developing, implementing, communicating and managing all aspects of the company’s Total Quality Management program. This is a growth opportunity for an aggressive and seasoned quality management professional who seeks the challenge of working with a world-class organization.  Other responsibilities include:

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

· Implement a comprehensive quality system covering all processes including concept, design, development, manufacture and field activities.

· Ensure that customer satisfaction issues are communicated and acted on by the organization.

· Develop a robust corrective action program.

· Prepare and manage the quality department budget and staffing plans.

· Develop and implement a quality audit program.

· Travel up to 20%, including international.

 Requirements

 

· Bachelors degree in engineering or related field.

· 12 years experience in quality system management within a medium to high volume  manufacturing environment.

· ISO implementation experience

· Technical expertise with quality system tools and analytics.

· Extensive experience with supplier, internal operation and customer quality requirements.
