Director of Manufacturing

Reports To:  President

 

Responsibilities:

  Responsible for ensuring customer orders are delivered on time, in full, while minimizing cost of goods sold and optimizing product quality Oversees management of:

-         Customer Service Operations

-         Prepress Operations

-         Manufacturing

-         Shipping and Receiving

-         Inventory Management Drives continuous improvement efforts in operations Hire/fire authority for department managers and employees Sets goals and objectives for direct reports Communicates strategic plans, goals and objectives to direct reports Development and growth of direct reports Regularly reviews direct reports’ performance Recommends compensation adjustments for direct reports Establishes annual expense and capital budgets for each department Establishes and monitors key performance metrics for operational departments Requests Corrective Action Reports and monitors implementation Provides updates to President on a regular basis

Requirements:

  Minimum 5 years experience in offset printing operations management Bachelors Degree

 

Preference:

  Operational management experience within the label printing industry Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
