Director of Creative Services

A major industry leader in the manufacturing of corrugated packaging, POP display and contract packaging is seeking an Experienced Director of Creative Services for their facility located in Northwest Houston.  This position will be responsible for all creative output, as well as working with the sales force, managers and designers on design layout, strategic plan and presentation approaches.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrioritizes, tracks, handles and maintains records of the elements, costs, and time schedules of multiple projects. Oversee final assembly of manufactured components into completed design to ship to client for final approval with first shipment. Keeps high standard of craftsmanship in both graphic and structural design. Coaches designers to enhance their level of performance and develop their skills. Brings positive attitude and thinking to the team. Communicates effectively with sales force, clients, management and the team.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidates will have, at a minimum, the following requirements:Bachelor's Degree 5+ years experience within a creative capacity within a packaging/display house Strong Creative and Concept development skills Ability to create displays that Attract attention and Sell product Must have strong managerial skills

Computer Skills
Knowledge of Design software:  Strata 3D, Cinema 4D, Artios CAD/CAD 3D, Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop Image Ready, Quark XPress, Freehand, CAPE Pkg, Flash HTML presentation, Mircrosoft and Excel Software
