With 38 manufacturing facilities worldwide and more than 10,000 employees, we serve customers in more than 100 countries and provide safety and security for people around the world every day.Tyco Safety Products is currently searching for a Director Supply Stream Planning to be located in Boca Raton, Florida or Atlanta (Lithia Springs), Georgia. Job Responsibilities:This position is responsible for overseeing the functional Supply Planning activities for the L&D managed distribution operations within North America and serving as the global process leader, working with the business units (ADT, SG and TFIS) to define and implement best in class Supply Stream Planning practices. Leadership responsibilities include Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Manufacturing Planning, Replenishment, and Change Order Management. Deliverables include identification of redundancies, voids, inconsistencies and defects within the current supply chain planning activities and implementation of actions plans to drive near term improvements in parallel with the development of the businesses Planning Strategy. Encourage the business units manage and drive best in class supply chain procedures across all businesses globally.Create action/project plans to implement planning process improvements and drive the projects to completion.Develop a global strategy and implementation road map to deliver on TSP?s vision of best in class planning processes including systems/IT enhancements.Analyze current supply chain practices, policies, and operating procedures using six sigma tools and lean methodology.Drive the implementation of Best Practices, ensure compliance of the roles & responsibility matrix, and monitor & manage process improvements within the L&D supply planning function.Lead implementation of related cost reduction initiatives in support of the business ?cost out? goals.Requirements: Bachelors degree (business or technical) from an accredited college or university. Masters degree in supply chain is a strong plus.7 to 10 years related Supply Stream experience.Proven track record of successful project/program management in a matrix based operating environment.Hands on experience in cleaning out the targeted (in scope) planning processes.Experience with both ERP based and stand alone / bolt-on planning tools and software packages.Experience within and/or a working knowledge of logistics and distribution operations.Demonstrated implementation of Six Sigma/Lean Productivity improvements required. Black Belt Certification is a plus.Must possess excellent leadership skills in addition to the ability to successfully manage within a matrix organization.Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
