Will provide leadership and management of the Major Subcontracts, Outsourcing, and General Procurement functions for the Corporation. Responsible for planning and executing activities associated with streaming/leaning business processes; cost estimating and proposal development; source selection; strategic partnering; supplier relationship management; compliance/governance; and program execution.Establish and institutionalize a Value Based Source Selection process. 'Working with the Business Units, identify core competencies of division and recommend strategic and tactical outsourcing and major subcontract opportunities to executive staff. Develop and implement a standard Outsourcing process consistent with Supply Chain Best Practices. Leadership interface with Supplier/Partners, Business Units, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and other functional personnel in matters relating to Major subcontracts and outsourcing. Responsible for Business Unit customer satisfaction. Manage complex outsourcing tasks. Proactive planning and management to insure that the cost and schedule objectives are met; corrective actions implemented. Develop next generation leadership. Champion environment of ethics and compliance.Consolidation of eBOMs to Consolidated Bills of Material utilizing the engineering databases and the Cost Point System Establishment or Order Entry System Responsible for Purchasing, Receiving, Warehousing, Kitting, Material Control, Material Planning and interface with Production Control and Engineering Configuration Management function. Establishment of Vendor Managed systems for floor stock items Coordination with PMOs to ensure on time delivery of critical items. Preparation of Dashboard and other Reports as required.Bachelors Degree with Master preferred APICs certification preferred Specific Skills and/or Experience Requirements: Ten years in supply chain management related to the Manufacture of sophisticated electronic, electromechanical or mechanical hardware with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity. Position requires an in-depth knowledge of applicable government regulations, procurement and supply chain practices. The ability to direct personnel engaged in procuring a variety of different commodities is also essential.
