Our globally recognized brands include Sharpie, Paper Mate, DYMO, EXPO, Waterman, Parker, Rolodex, IRWIN, LENOX, BernzOmatic, Rubbermaid, Graco, Calphalon, Goody, and Teutonia. This is a job summary which includes essential job duties of the position.  More specific information regarding duties may be provided upon request for particular locations and facilities.  The Director, Supply Chain is responsible for managing a shared service Customer Service and Planning organization supporting the all five Office Products GBUs.  This position reports to the VP, Supply Chain - Markers, Highlighters, & Art.   The Director, Supply Chain will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of Order Management, Demand Planning, and Consumer Affairs comprised of the following departments/responsibilities: Two Customer Service Departments:  Strategic Account Planning & Customer Service, Order Management. Consumer Affairs Export Customer Service Demand Planning – Sales & Operations Planning SAP Effectiveness & Continuous Improvement The Director, Supply Chain will need to interface with NA Sales, GBU Marketing, Systems, and Finance as well and Materials Management, Distribution, & Transportation in the SC organization to provide world class customer service and S&OP management.  He/she will need to work with Sales Teams and participate in Business Reviews with key customers.  He/she will need to continue the stabilization and improvement of working in SAP, focusing on Order to Cash and Demand Planning specifically.   The Director, Supply Chain will need to operate in an order intense and dynamic environment interfacing with Customers and internal functions in all of the GBUs.  This will require both functional acumen and the professional presence to deliver the world class service and customer relationships needed in this business. Degree in business, supply management, or related field required; advanced degree preferred 10+ years experience supply chain management (in industry) Proven track record of effective Customer Service and other Supply Chain disciplines Excellent written & verbal communication skills SAP or other ERP experience, specifically Order to Cash and Demand Planning Strong leadership & presentation skills Superior teamwork skills Ability to plan and organize efficiently and effectively Sound judgment/problem solving skills Strong negotiation skills Organizational agility/ability to get things done in a global matrix organization Preferred Qualifications: Office Products/Consumer Products Industry Experience Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma knowledge/experience Newell Rubbermaid and its Business Units are Equal Opportunity Employers and comply with applicable employment laws.
