FUJIFILM Dimatix, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation, located in Lebanon, NH, is the world's premier provider of piezoelectric ink jet printheads. Our products are designed to accurately dispense a wide range of fluid types in micro-amounts for demanding imaging and fabricating applications.  We are looking for a Director in Engineering  to join our Printhead Development group to be a leader of our DTI engineering organization. This position is responsible for all customer project and new product development, with emphasis on system EE/SW architecture design for systems and components

 

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Lead and manage DTI department Participation in product planning and coordination with business development activities Develop and manage electronics and software system architecture decisions Customer technical sales interaction Budgeting and business planning Direct the activities of an integrated hardware/software systems design function Design and develop electronic, electro-mechanical equipment or systems-oriented products Develop and implement plans to grow systems business Interact closely with electrical and mechanical system components development groups

 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Supervises managers and/or engineers

 

Job Requirements:


Min 10 years experience, BSEE, MSEE preferred Leadership skills, technical and organizational Entreprenurial, energetic, “build the business” mentality Product development experience from concept stage through implementation and  product release Experience developing system specifications and electrical architecture from marketing requirements Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal Prior design-level familiarity with most of: Low level analog/instrumentation techniques / PSpice Embedded microcontroller / ADC / DAC Power electronics / DC-DC converter design Verilog FPGA design Industrial communications protocols Industrial process control / PLCs High-speed serial communication methods Product design to meet UL/FCC/CE EMC and safety standards Embedded firmware Simple application software
