Director, Accounting and Financial Reporting - H1844

Job Description As the Director of Accounting and External Financial Reporting, you will lead the global accounting function to prepare timely and accurate financial statements. Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the close and reporting processes.  Maintain an effective control structure; assure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley 404 requirements.  Work with all levels of management to understand the company’s transactions and ensure financial statements are recorded in accordance with GAAP.  Work with finance peers to enable proper accountability for the business groups, functions, and consolidated results. This individual will be a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual responsible for the management, supervision, and leadership of the company’s world wide accounting community.  The individual will be responsible for building the capability of the accounting organization, including coaching, developing, and training accountants and accounting managers.  The Director of Accounting and External Financial Reporting will be a key resource for the Company’s growth plans.
