Dimensional Engineer (Investment Castings)

ESCO Turbine Technologies is a manufacturer of premium investment castings for the Aircraft and Industrial Gas Turbine industry. Currently, we have over 400 employees working in our Chittenango, NY facility.

We are currently looking for a Dimensional Engineer to be part of our Engineering Team. The selected results-oriented candidate will have 3+ years experience and a BS in Mechanical Engineering or other related education. Experience in the Investment Casting Process desired.

 

This position develops cost effective tooling (wax and core dies, fixtures, and gauges) and operations required to produce and control the dimensional requirements and productivity of our product throughout the manufacturing process. Coordinates and controls the requests for quoting, ordering, construction, and release of tooling from outside and inside resources. Reviews and designs tooling concepts. Develops and maintains operational sequences. Works with and trains manufacturing personnel in processes to reduce product variation. Provide technical support to Sales department. Provide technical support to customers and handle all necessary customer and supplier communications. Continuously pursue internal and external opportunities for improvement with Six Sigma, Gage R&R, SPC, non-straightening processes and other cost reduction initiatives.
