Development/Application Engineer

Vytran LLC in Morganville, NJ – Manufacturer of micro-robotic equipment for the Optical Fiber industry - is currently seeking self-motivated Development/Application Engineers. Specific responsibilities include: Develop and optimize new glass processing and splice formulas:  using a detailed understanding of machine operation acquired on the job combined with systematic experimentation, arrive at processes that meet the customer requirements. Perform disciplined data analysis and documentation. Plan custom process development.  Review customer requests, estimate time for and plan the execution of process development and fabrication for custom fiber processing and assembly work.  Process small quantity production runs for on-time delivery to the customer. Contribute to the development of machine enhancements; support manufacturing operations; provide customer technical support, and contribute to technical marketing.
