Desktop Support Analyst

Under general direction this position provides all aspects of end-user support; including user problem diagnosis and resolution of moderately complex issues. Ensure assigned trouble calls are completed efficiently, effectively and to the satisfaction of the user. This position will provide some assistance with network issues and correct minor communication/voice problems.Responsibilities: * Under general supervision, provide primary desktop support, including all Microsoft applications and PC hardware installations* Interface with users, to gather information and provide end-user training. Provide technical assistance to users with PC hardware, software and printer problems.* Analyze and diagnose problems, and determine the best solution for desktop, network, hardware and software issues* Identify, test and install new network systems or upgrades to current systems, printers, server, software or components* Assist Network PC Voice Analyst with telecommunication issues and maintenance* Analyze, troubleshoot network cabling, hardware, and software problems* Monitor network performance and perform administrative tasks such as maintaining user accounts* Maintain backup files and restore files as required* Prioritize and track assigned end-user requests Primary Outcomes:* Position has strong PC technical skills that will be used to solve user issues.* Good customer service skills* Able to clearly communicate in oral or written format* Can work well with other team members as well as with minimal supervisionQualifications: .* Education Required: BS degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or Microsoft certification or equivalent experience* Experience Required: 4 years providing desktop support, including 1 year assisting with LAN support.* Experience Preferred: Experience working in the Pharmaceutical industry * Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed: Prefer Microsoft certification As a member of TEVA Pharmaceutical Industries, Ltd., the world's leading manufacturer and marketer of generic drugs, we regularly seek dedicated and hardworking professionals with the necessary skills for our business.
