Position Description:

CA) Distribution (SFT) Report To: Sales Manager NA-SFTLocation: North America- Assigned Account BaseJob Goals:Responsible for the sale of Specialty Pressure Sensitive Tapes, Coated Fabrics, PTFE Extruded, Cast, and Skived Film, Coated Films, Extruded Films, and PI to an assigned distribution account base. The position is required to grow sales for SFT and SCF products utilizing the Saint-Gobain Distribution channel. Account Management calls will be required at all assigned distributors as well as at end users throughout the defined Distribution account base in North America. The Distribution DSM's objective is to support revenue growth (minimum 6% YoY growth with a target of 10% YoY growth annually) and margin improvement in their assigned distributor account base. The DSM will be expected to: maintain and grow an existing Distribution account base, identify new application opportunities for existing and developmental products through distributors, produce an accurate sales forecast for the territory, share competitive information back to the business, as well as support marketing and product management in their business initiatives. The candidate will be required to spec sell at OEM's using the distribution network that leads to new applications sold for SFT and SCF products into target markets that include aerospace, electronics, heat sealing/ welding, packaging, factory food processing, construction, flooring, electrical insulation, chemical processing, pharmaceutical and others as defined by Saint-Gobain market managers.Education, Skills and Requirements:• Bachelor's degree, preferably in technical or business discipline, or equivalent successful technical sales experience and results• 3-5 years of successful selling experience in a distribution network that focuses on pressure sensitive tapes, specialty film and fabric materials or other similar technical products • End user specification selling experience utilizing a distribution network • Business and application development experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in pressure sensitive tapes (PSAT), coated fabrics, and PTFE film products • Experience and knowledge of applications in defined markets for PSAT, Coated Fabrics and PTFE Films materials• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint programs. Required and demonstrated experience in using a CRM sales database for reporting and managing accounts and business development activities • A valid US Passport and driver's license in order to travel domestically and internationally as required. Passport required for possible travel to Canada or Mexico• Fluency in the French or Spanish language a plus Responsibilities:• Manage existing distributor account base and grow a sales territory to meet/exceed business goals and objectives in terms of gross sales, profit plans and growth over PYF sales of minimum 6% with a target of 10% annual growth• Spec sell Saint-Gobain PSAT and Coated Fabric products at end users through an assigned distributor account base• Ability to train distributor sales and support staff on Saint-Gobain products and capabilities • Identify new opportunities via the collection of competitive information and the reporting of new market/technology trends leading to the development of new SFT and SCF product/market programs.• Collaborate with marketing departments, to assist in the development of advertising and promotional programs, telemarketing plans and tradeshow participation necessary to achieve product line sales objectives within the Distribution Sales Team and network• Maintain effective communication across all levels of SFT and SCF regarding customer issues and opportunities. All level's include sales management, technical staff, marketing, csr team, and all operational personnel.• Work with csr team, and manufacturing to provide accurate and timely information regarding customer demand in order to support cost effective scheduling of manufacturing operations necessary to support sales and service objectives for the business and the customer base• Timely reporting of all sales activities into the CRM/Sales Logix database• Travel 60-75% TO APPLY: For immediate consideration, please apply below.
