DCS System Manager/Controls Engineer
General Scope:
The DCS System Manager/Controls Engineer is responsible for insuring that the Distributed Control System (DCS) provides safe and effective control of the process. The technician is responsible for maintaining all procedures and standards associated with the DCS and is the focal point for interaction with other sites, corporate and vendor resources.
Essential Duties:
Maintain a master copy of all hardware and software documentation. Maintain the system server, and makes copies of configuration, database, and display files available to other users. Approve all changes made to the system. Review and verify all on-line configuration changes to the system, including tag and trend database changes. Participate in design and installation of new equipment and upgrades. Responsible for maintaining all hardware and software revisions. Insure that any new hardware or software is compatible with the existing system. Responsible for hardware maintenance, either writing repair orders, calling in the vendor, or performing the maintenance. Perform daily verification of the system.

- Console Engineering Tools
- Module Engineering Tools Bachelors in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringBailey Controls experienceMust be highly motivated and self managed. Must have ability to multi task. Must have excellent attention to detail. Experience with computer, electrical and instrument systems. Must be able to work with and effectively communicate with manufacturing personnel and technical process stewards. Must be able to manage vendor resources
